Residential Life Coordinators
There are five Residential Life Coordinators in campus housing, situated in different buildings. An RLC is a specially trained full-time university employee, specializing in college student development, community building, counseling, and crisis intervention.
The RLCs supervise the Resident Associates (RAs) on overall student wellness and community programming. The RLCs also assist Housing with the management and daily operations of Caltech Facilities. They are a fantastic resource, usually just a few steps away!

Program Ideas
Residential life is a highly collaborative group, and the RLCs love seeing student ideas come to fruition. Students can always let us know what kinds of things they'd like to see in their community
Resource Referral
All residential staff (RLCs and RAs) are knowledgeable of campus resources that can assist students mentally, physically, academically, and socially. We often know the folks in those offices!
Community Issues
While a great arena for growth, communal living does not come without its challenges. RLCs can assist with interpersonal and community wide issues or concerns.
Emergency Support
RLCs help manage various kinds of emergencies on campus and complete differing levels of follow-up to ensure the safety and comfortability of all students on campus.
