What is a First-Year Caltech Connector (FCC)?
Every incoming student is assigned to an orientation group led by First-Year Caltech Connectors, also known as FCCs. These trained student leaders facilitate engaging activities throughout Orientation Week and serve as key points of support, offering guidance, advice, and practical insights to help students transition successfully into life at Caltech.
- Must be eligible to enroll for Fall classes and be in good academic standing with the Institute
- Strong communication skills, positive attitude, and willingness to collaborate
- Previous experience as an FCC is not required
Applications to become an FCC are open each Spring term.
