Schedule of Events
We are excited to share the Family Weekend schedule is now live on the Guidebook app. Please see attached instructions on how to download and access the guide, and feel free to review the calendar of events. The Guidebook app will replace any web-based schedules this year, so we recommend having it downloaded to your mobile device prior to arriving on campus. However, if you prefer a desktop version of the app, please visit here. Please note some functions will be limited on the desktop version, so we encourage viewing it on the Guidebook app to have access to the full array of information.
While the majority of sessions are confirmed, some of the session descriptions may be subject to change and will be updated up until family weekend.
On campus registration & check-in opens at 1pm on Friday, January 31. Families arriving after Friday evening are welcome to check in on Saturday morning. Family Weekend programming will conclude at noon on Sunday, February 2. Please feel free to plan travel accordingly.
Starting 2pm on Friday, January 31, Family Weekend programming includes:
- Campus Tours
- Welcome Reception at the Athenaeum with Dr. Thomas Rosenbaum, President; Sonja and William Davidow Presidential Chair and Professor of Physics and Professor Katherine T. Faber, Simon Ramo Professor of Materials Science
- Faculty Talk
- A conversation with Vice President for Student Affairs and Faculty Dean of Students, Kevin Gilmartin and Dean of Undergraduate Students, Jennifer Jahner
- Informational Sessions with student services offices, including Student Wellness Services; Career Achievement, Leadership, and Exploration; Student-Faculty Programs; Fellowships and Study Abroad
- Athletic Games
- Upper-Year Student Panel
- Reception with the Residential Community
- Jazz Concert* (hosted by Performing & Visual Arts - this is a separate ticketed event)
