The Student & Family Engagement team is putting the finishing touches on the Family Weekend schedule of events, and it's shaping up to be an exciting weekend! Please see below for schedule highlights.
On campus registration & check-in opens at 1pm on Friday, January 31. Families arriving after Friday evening are welcome to check in on Saturday morning. Family Weekend programming will conclude at noon on Sunday, February 2. Please feel free to plan travel accordingly.
Starting 2pm on Friday, January 31, Family Weekend programming includes:
- Campus Tours
- Welcome Reception at the Athenaeum with Dr. Thomas Rosenbaum, President; Sonja and William Davidow Presidential Chair and Professor of Physics and Professor Katherine T. Faber, Simon Ramo Professor of Materials Science
- Faculty Talk
- Fireside Chat with Vice President for Student Affairs and Faculty Dean of Students, Kevin Gilmartin and Dean of Undergraduate Students, Jennifer Jahner
- Informational Sessions with student services offices, including Student Wellness Services; Career Achievement, Leadership, and Exploration; Student-Faculty Programs; Fellowships and Study Abroad
- Athletic Games
- Upper-Year Student Panel
- Reception with the Residential Community and Faculty Talk with Vikram Ravi, Assistant Professor of Astronomy
- Jazz Concert* (hosted by Performing & Visual Arts - this is a separate ticketed event)
