Schedule of Events
The Student & Family Engagement team is excited to announce that the Family Weekend schedule of events is available for review on the Guidebook app. Please see below for schedule highlights and get ready for a wonderful weekend.
On campus check-in begins 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 30. Families arriving after check-in hours (11am-3pm) are welcome to check in with a staff member at a scheduled event. Formal programming will conclude Saturday evening, with optional programming available Sunday. Please feel free to plan travel accordingly.
Starting 12:00 p.m. on Friday, January 30, Family Weekend programming includes:
- Campus Tours
- Welcome Reception with Dr. Thomas Rosenbaum, President; Sonja and William Davidow Presidential Chair and Professor of Physics and Professor Katherine T. Faber, Simon Ramo Professor of Materials Science
- A Dialogue with Caltech Senior Leaders
- Faculty Talk
- Informational Sessions with Student Services Staff, highlighting career and professional development, Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowships (SURF) opportunities, and student health services
- Upper-Year Student Panel
- Reception with Student Affairs Staff & Faculty In Residence
- Jazz Concert* (hosted by Performing & Visual Arts)
