Your Family Weekend registration fee includes:

  • Access to all Family Weekend activities
  • A welcome bag with Caltech swag
  • Refreshments on Friday afternoon
  • Welcome Reception with President Thomas F. Rosenbaum and Professor Katherine T. Faber on Friday early evening
  • Breakfast on Saturday morning
  • Lunch on Saturday afternoon
  • Reception with Student Affairs staff and Faculty in Residence on Saturday late afternoon

The final deadline for registration is Wednesday, January 21, 2026. Unfortunately, we are unable to process any on-site registrations, so please sign up before the deadline.

Major credit cards are accepted as a form of payment online. Cash and checks are not accepted.

Fee Waivers
 If the registration fee poses a financial hardship for your family, please contact us at [email protected] for a separate form before the registration deadline. Submissions for fee waivers will be considered on a case-by-case basis and a staff member from Student and Family Engagement will be in touch with you.

Refund Policy
 Family Weekend tickets are non-refundable. If your plans to attend change, please email [email protected] to let us know. In the event that Caltech must cancel Family Weekend events, the Institute will automatically refund all ticket holders in full. However, we are unable to refund families for any plane tickets, hotel bookings, or other costs associated with your Family Weekend attendance. Therefore, we strongly encourage families to book refundable tickets wherever possible.
