The Hameetman Center

Welcome to Caltech's Student Center.

The Hameetman Center was built with gifts from Fred (BS '62) and Joyce Hameetman and Steven and Mie Frautschi.  It was officially dedicated on February 28, 2019.

The Hameetman Center houses the Red Door Marketplace, the Caltech Store, the Steven and Mie Frautschi performance room, and a variety of meeting rooms.

The Hameetman Center is a gathering space for student programs and activities.  The purpose of the Center is to help facilitate student engagement, provide student clubs and organizations space for meetings and events, and offer a space where all students can build lasting friendships.  The goal is that the Hameetman Center will enhance the student experience and create a meaningful place for students to enjoy being part of the Caltech community.

Staff members may make reservations for the purposes of supporting and hosting student programs and trainings.  For staff space information see resources listed here.
