Caltech First-Year Undergraduate Family Weekend Registration

Attendees can register for Family Weekend here.
Adults: $100 each
Children (18 and under): No Charge
Caltech Student: No Charge

Please note: Registration for your Caltech student is free! Please be sure to register your student with your family's registration. Please complete one form per family/group.

The following events and meals are covered by the registration fee:

• Access to all Family Weekend activities
• Welcome bag with swag
• Welcome Reception with Caltech President Dr. Thomas F. Rosenbaum and Professor Katherine T. Faber on Friday
• Breakfast on Saturday
• Lunch on Saturday
• Reception with Student Affairs Staff and Faculty in Residence on Saturday
• Brunch on Sunday

Major credit cards are accepted as a form of payment online. Cash and checks are not accepted.

Unfortunately, due to campus space capacity restrictions, we cannot accept on-site registration.

If the registration fee poses a financial hardship for your family, please contact us at sfe@caltech.edu for a separate form before the registration deadline. Submissions for fee waivers will be considered on a case-by-case basis and a staff member from Student and Family Engagement will be in touch with you.

If your plans to attend change, please email sfe@caltech.edu to discuss how to refund your ticket. In the event that Caltech must cancel in-person Family Weekend events, the Institute will automatically refund all ticket holders in full. However, we are unable to refund families for any plane tickets, hotel bookings, or other costs associated with your Family Weekend attendance. Therefore, we strongly encourage families to book refundable tickets wherever possible.
